REI S19 Trail Run

Upon starting at REI, I dreamed of creating a fitness line that exuded an outdoor identity. I was tasked with bringing a trail run collection to life and saw it as the perfect opportunity to design into a fitness activity that was authentic to the brand. We focused on durable, lightweight materials while engineering ventilation through placed perforation and fabric blocking. All layering pieces have packable functionality and bottoms focus on extra storage options for a distraction fee run. We leaned heavily on color and print to bring an outdoor feel to the collection, utilizing classic olives and oranges, a signature landscape grid print, and a warm taupe toned reflective.
